Stumbled across your blog...as a former "Minneapolis-ite," I just want to say first of all...you're making me very, very homesick, lol!!!

I think Copeland's has closed, though...

If you want another fairly expensive but delicious place to eat, try Ichiban's. If you like seafood, I've heard Oceanaire is also good.

Less expensive but delicious cuisine:

Jerusalem's (amazing Middle Eastern food)
Snuffy's (THE best burgers ever!)
Keys Cafe (Best for breakfast - once you have eaten one of their cinnamon rolls, you will never want one from anywhere else again!).

For entertainment, I definitely second the "Triple Espresso" nomination. Check out what's playing at Theatre in the Round or the Southern Theatre, too - very quality shows; only about $15 a ticket.

Comedy Sportz in Uptown is also a great time...

oh, and we used to go to Cafe di Napoli when I was a little girl. It's good food, and also, as I recall, inexpensive.

I would put Minnehaha Park on my list, too. And I agree with you on the Mall, (although we go there if we have to). I like Lake Calhoun, and Lake Harriet (actually, it's fun to just drive around the lakes). And if you have a little time, take a side trip to Stillwater. It's a beautiful old town.
