About two years ago, I took a quiz on my theological world-view. I was curious whether my thoughts had changed in two years, so I retook the quiz this morning, here is a comparison of my results:

I haven’t really changed at all. I find that interesting. I think it is good that I seem steady in my beliefs. Of course, who knows if this is really accurate at all, especially considering I am an Assembly of God minister and pentecostal is only my fourth highest!

During an ecumenical meeting, someone rushed in shouting, “The building is on fire!” The Methodists gathered in the corner and prayed. The Baptists cried, “Where is the water?” The Lutherans nailed a notice to the door, declaring the fire was evil. The Pentecostals and charismatics praised God for the blessing that fire brings. The Calvinists quietly said, “God has predestined the fire.” The Presbyterians appointed a chairperson to appoint a committee to look into the matter. And the church secretary grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. (Source unknown.)
I found this on the Assembly of God website.

I took a quiz to see which theological tradition best fits me. Here are my results. I found it very interesting since I am a Minister in the Assemblies of God, which is pentecostal. You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan. You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God’s grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavily by John Wesley and the Methodists.
